The Tides of Time

Hey world. You're officially reading a post that has been posted by a college graduate. Yes, that seems cocky, it's not I promise, it's just a fact. But for some reason, we as humans like to state such facts as often as possible ("Wow, you're tall", or "The weather is nice outside" are some examples.)

I digress. The point I would like to make is this...

Value your time.

And no I don't mean that in the way that people on their death bed do. I mean it in the way that...when you have a few extra minutes and you say to yourself "eh, I'll do it later." Just get it over with. As I got towards the end of my collegiate career, I really saw the value in this. I would like to think that now, getting stuff out of the way is just one of those habits I've acquired. But I know full well it is one I did not have in the past. And now i see just how much more simple it makes everything else.

Not sure why I wanted to share that with the interwebz, but I did, so there!

Anyway, I'll be back in north carolina on saturday for all the fuquay kids...plus...I have a tremendously busy summer ahead of me, and hopefully I'll find myself a job in the process.

The Years of New

So it's now offically 2010...that seems so unreal in a few ways. This year will throw more changes at me than any previous year has so far... It's time to grow up and to be honest that's scary as hell. But although I'll have a lot to deal with concerning that, I know I have the most amazing girl by my side and that we'll get through it.

I've never been more nervous and more excited at the same time.
